Exporting VIDEO/ANIMATION This is the best option for exporting video/animation in FLASH... In general, set up your document to the appropriate aspect ratio. You can create your document from the templates by selecting Media Playback 1) All symbols must be synchronized to the main timeline, therefore MovieClip symbols should not be used as their timelines are independent. Use graphic symbols. You can use graphic symbols to nest animations. 2) Animate at either 24 or 30 (29.97) frames per second standard. However, FLASH will do conversion upon export if necessary. 3) Most professionals export a sequence of PNGs, which is then imported into another application, such as After Effects or FCPro for further editing and effects. PNGs are the best option in terms of compression and offer transparency via an alpha channel. 4) Be sure to hide layer guides or any other helper graphics you have created that you do not want part of the final export. 5) Organize your project by scene. Ideally keep each FLASH file under a minute's worth of content. These can be edited together later prevent you from losing too much work if FLASH files get corrupted. Large FLASH files (usually due to imported audio or other elements) seem to be a problem. To export PNG sequence: FILE>EXPORT>EXPORT MOVIE Select PNG sequence Make sure you create or use a dedicated folder, as there will be a lot of stills depending on your project! Click OK (default settings) on the Export PNG window. |
