Geeky Theory
Research shows that musical training is good for the brain in the development of young ones, including the "long-term enhancement of visual–spatial, verbal, and mathematical performance" [1] as well as the health and enjoyment of older ones and everyone in between. Noizical instruments encourage us to develop an appreciation, not only for melody, harmony and rhythm, but also for the emergent complexity of sound and light. As the human orients to patterns, these instruments encourage us to develop recognition of such complexity in the play of experimentation and improvisation. Use them for solos or create your own performance troupe!
